how can you even consider making cook and strauss battle for one place when the are to batsman capable of scoring runs. Collingwood is a wasted batting slot in that team at current great one day player but not up to test standard.

Agree to disagree, I'd probably put Bopara in that category. Collingwood scored 206 against Australia, in Australia.

And as I write that Bell chucks his wicket away. Hooray. I vote for sacking the batting coach Andy Flower - what is he teaching these players? Your wicket should be a precious thing when you're up against it and playing the Saffers, not just tossed away. Disgraceful.

Well, now Colly and KP have to save us. Odds against?

moment of truth crouchy. awful shot from bell. I hope youve been right all along about collingwood but i wont be calling ladbrokes. Bopara is definatly not a test player out of his depth in sri-lanka and hes had his chance. Shah is the man for the number 6 slot.

Completely agree about Bopara, in two minds about Shah now. I was one of the louder voices in SL pleading for him to play in Colombo and then Galle, but I think Rob Key is banging on the door louder.

(Shitting himself)

If Colly gets a century in this innings, I will buy each person who's posted in this topic a beer in Mumbai.
