Hello everyone, I am planning to go for Tests in Kolkata, Mumbai & Nagpur. I am a young 20 yrs old girl travelling alone. I am looking for budget hotels in Kolkata & Nagpur but should be decent enough. I don't mind sharing accommodation or room, so if any one could help me out with info as I have not done the bookings anywhere. I did read few posts here in Forum, will try & book there if possible. Thanks |

I'm staying in Hotel Diplomat on Sudder Street in Kolkata, best thing to do is look for hotels quite close to the ground on a hotel booking website then read some reviews on here or tripadivisor. |

In Kolkata staying @ The Corporate Hotel (£38 per night) on Royd Street. 2km from Eden Gardens. Please note in Nagpur the cricket ground is approx 15-17 km outside the town. There are hotels near the airport (on the way to the cricket ground), but the cheaper ones are in the town. Staying @ the Peanut Budget Lodging (£35 per night) by Kachipura Garden. Booked both on Agoda (you have to pay "up front", but can cancel, and get your money back if required). Good Luck Erik |

For Kolkata, I have sent a mailer to Broadway hotel today, lets see what they reply. But for Nagpur, yeah I know its a mess! The stadium is far off from main city & hotels near stadium are a bit going out of my budget (I'm student with a ltd budget though) I am still trying to sort off with Nagpur! I am kind off completely free that time so I wish to go for all five days for Nagpur test but trying to fit in. If you get some more info abt budget hotel nearby to stadium thn let me know, it would be of great help. Don't mind sharing as well. THANKS anyways!! |
