The message for both Dunedin and Wellington is to buy your tickets online before travelling. Dunedin has a capacity of just over 5000 and Wellington 8000. Since our last tour in 2008 one of the stands at Wellington has been condemned following the earthquakes , hence the lower capacity. In reality it's unlikely that either will sell out before Christmas if at all, but with the tickets easily available at premier.ticketek.co.nz/shows/show.aspx?sh=TESTENG13&v=DUO , you'll have the peace of mind. Most of us will be heading for the grass bank tickets , which are general admission allowing you to wander round and decide on which grass bank you wish to reside but for the same price ($90) in Dunedin you can choose to sit in one of two temporary stands, our guys are heading for the 'electric' stand. I'll post any further info on tickets and any other 'activities' when I get it for what will be a fantastic tour. |

Have decided that the family don't really need presents this year, totally trivial matters compared to my need for test tickets!!! Thirteen weeks from now and I'll be at Heathrow!!!! |

Thanks for the advice Gilo. What is really quite sad is I think you are right in the assessment about sales, it is unlikely that they will sell out 5000 tickets against the Mother of cricket ! |
