The worrying thing is that Ticketek told me the tickets would be ready in early October!

Is it due to the ground re-development there not being complete still?

nothing has been said about the ground other than there are concerns about the pitch or the laying of the grass.
but you can bet they are hanging on...or HAVE been hanging on to watch the progress of the stands

I live here and am pretty pissed off by it all. every other test match has tickets printed and out to people who purchased them.
I have just this minute hung up the phone ( again) to our local radio station which has a sports program every night. I am waiting for them to call me back over this issue.

if anybody there wants to air their feelings with the media here in Adelaide here are two options.

Radio station 5AA. on air sports program 4.00pm - 7.00pm every night
phone number 0011 61 8 8223 0000 ( tell them you are ringing from the UK )
the show comperes are Chris McDermott and Steven Rowe

NOTE......we are 8 1/2 hours ahead of you.

or local daily newspaper. The Advertiser.

Letters To The Editor email address - advedit@theadvertiser.com.au

I myself and others have heard so many different responses about tickets and when we are going to get them.....
we are pissed off so I can imagine how all you guys feel waiting for your tickets to be sent over.

As posted in the other thread www.barmyarmy.com/forum_new/index.php?v ... =36&t=8117

Ezy Tickets appear to be available for download off the Ticketek site now. No idea what they are doing about other delivery options though.

My problem is that I ordered the tickets through a relative who lives in Brisbane and is not going to the Adelaide test.. As they are proper tickets rather than PDF files I have got to hope that he gets them in sufficient time to post them to me in the UK before I fly out.

I cannot see me being allowed to pick them up from the Adelaide ticket office as I am not the original purchaser. My only other option is to get them sent to my Adelaide hotel.

Is anybody else in the same boat.

Yes, me. I 'persuaded' my brother (a non cricket fan who lives in Melbourne) to join the ACF, then I used his log in, Oz address and credit card to order the tickets - to be sent to his address. Might have to ask him to mail them to our hotel, that's if they ever arrive at his place in Melbourne.

Ticketmaster sent the Perth tickets out straight away, I cannot understand why Ticketek cannot do the same.
