Guyana was one of the venues originally named, but the WICB is currently in dispute with the government there. The NZ Test it was meant to be hosting is already set to be moved.

From what I have seen of guyana i would be quite pleased if it didn't get a test, maybe replace it with barbados to pander to the tourist industry. Probably not what most want but would suit me on this occasion.

It Is a bit worrying that test venue for New Zealand in June 26 is changing 3 weeks before the test. Suppose that's the risk

Its been a risk with several countries for some time now, mainly due to politics/administative problems. With the scrapping of FTP I can only see it get worse.
Like many on here I've had to make extensive, expensive last minute alterations to travel plans in the past, the days of early booking savings are over for us I think. Joys of touring ? :)

Have been once and will be definitely going again. We went to Antigua for the one-dayers earlier this year and we were hoping Trinidad was going to be on the itinerary this time to make a change from the usual suspects. I suspect though, that politics and money will be the winner, with Antigua and Barbados getting the nod for two of the tests.

Like LG I have promised the g/f but without the additional pressure of marriage :D
Hopefully it will come off and a guaranteed itinerary soon.

I wouldn't mind a Test Match in Barbados, trying to sort a trip out for 7 or 8 lads just waiting for dates, anyone recommend any hotels in the St Lawrence Gap area dont really want 5 star on the beach, i saw the Yellow Bird or was it Little Bird looks a good location but apparently very noisy at night any one any ideas, hope this isn't to much of a Trip Adviser question, if it is one warning will be sufficient.
