When went to the last Test series, we had to fly from Kinston to Antigua. As there's only one direct flight a week, we booked it up before anything else. Obviously the flight was packed, but some BA got upgraded to Business class, somewhat to the dismay of one Mr Boycott. He turned round to a couple of them saying he didn't mind them as passengers, but that they'd better not start bloody singing !

Are you sure it was him ?
As Boycott thinks he walks on water why would he need to fly across it ? :D

Quick hello as a newbie on here!
Me & the Mrs to be are looking to take in next years tour as our honeymoon after getting wed next month. Like most on the thread we are keen to hear the dates & venues so can plan our trip. Obviously accommodation depends on venues, but hopefully get some good suggestions from those that have travelled over before

Just spoke to ECB.. there is a board meeting on the 15th July.. in the West Indies to confirm the test venues/dates etc... and he was quite flippant to me.. saying their needs to make it beneficial to the islands.. comes before our urgency to get things booked..
Ok.. John.. Ill tell everyone who spends their hard earned cash going out there.. !!!

Can't wait to sort out all my customers out who are patiently waiting..

Hope the dates and venues are out soon after meeting then. Would be nice timing to come back from Nottingham and then get booked up for the Caribbean and let my girlfriend get on with organising wedding. Thanks for sharing the information

Picked the hotel, travel agent costed everything for us, deposit ready to be paid just waiting for confirmation of the damn dates! First opportunity to go an away test since Sri Lanka 2012 and can't wait to join the army again! Provisionally priced up Barbados for last two weeks of April (well two weeks from 13th) if any early we won't be able to go as prices rocket due to Easter holidays. Will need to take young 'un out of school though. Fingers crossed.

I emailed the ECB a couple of weeks ago asking if they had any idea when dates would be announced and they suggested that it would be likely after yesterdays Board meeting but, like you say, no news anywhere.
