I know this is not everybody's team.....but this took place at the mcg last night.

made you feel proud to be English.

would have been perfect if it had been the Barmy Army with England there.

Still......that....is coming later this year.

I hate football, I hate Liverpool and I hate that cringeworthy self indulgent schmaltzy anthem, The idea of 95,000 plastic scousers from convictland trying to single handedly break the banks of the Yarra with tears as they belt it out makes me want to vomit. I bet they all congratulated each other afterwards - "well done boys, we really nailed that one". Pathetic.

Hope this helps. Rant over.

Proud to be English? It was cringe material.

Will there be 95,000 there for Boxing Day test? No.

Tells you something about the state of Australian cricket right now.

Will go close on Day 1......whether they are still there at tea is another matter entirely.

I have no proof but 95,000 genuine scousers at the MCG. For a friendly? That would be about 10% of the entire current population of Liverpool.

Liverpool were decades ahead of Man Utd in having loads of glory fans all over the world, including the South of England. I can't understand not supporting your local team.

Could they not be fans of lower league clubs? Who never in the memory of man would see the likes of Gerrard in the flesh?

If you don't like football, don't like Liverpool, don't like YNWA,apart from cricket, what do you like. And what have scousers done to you for you to hate them so much?.
