after 2 tests, v windies next month. Will end on 200 tests exactly.

This would explain why the BCCI have been messing around with the South Africa tour schedule.

Never seen him play,but a lot of people can't be wrong. Possibly the best ever?

Clearly not the best ever because of a certain Don Bradman. I always thought Lara was the best Ive seen, however he was great and always behaved impeccably imo, will be sadly missed. Remarkable to think that he was playing in the first series I properly followed..1990 india in england... I cut my teeth on that series, first time I properly understood the rules of test cricket, and 23 years later he is still playing, un believable.

Will be interesting to see how close Cook can get to some of his records.

Well this could be his last innings, surely last chance of a ton. He hasnt scored one in 2.5 years so it is surely a longshot. 25 not out I would be selling his runs at around the 80 mark.

163 would take him to 16,000 test runs.
