i live about an hour from stafford looks like the weathers going to be fine, so interested in going, anyone else going ive heard these matches are a good day out |

I know this was last years thread but the title is pertinent again.... I have to be in the Midlands on Saturday morning so thought might drive up to Stafford Friday lunchtime and try and get cheap hotel/B and B locally and drive down in the morning. Anyone with any local knowledge got any tips for this? Cheers |

The Travelodge a stones throw from the ground was doing rooms at £29, might be a bit more now mate, prob £50. The Abbey will prob be full of attendees of the match. We stayed at The Swan last year but I think that may be full too. Cracking day, lets hope the weather holds. |
