A few salient points:- 1) There were hundreds of armed guards within range: did you get the agreement of the security forces, as well as the curator, to mount the security fence and walk onto the pitch unaccompanied without any security accreditation? It only takes one trigger happy guard to shoot you, or worse, an innocent bystander. The "over zealous" guard was merely doing his job by removing intruders from the pitch. 2) Did you have Ian Bell's permission to play with his bat? How would you feel if a couple of Australians jumped the boundary at Lord's and started playing with Andrew Strauss's bat? You wouldn't do it in Australia or England, so why do it in Bangladesh? 3) You can drop all the names you like, but are you telling me the members of the BCB and the ICC President would have allowed you onto the pitch, unaccompanied and without accreditation during the tea interval? As a result of the recent shootings in Lahore (Sri Lanka team bus) and the major terrorist incident in Mumbai (attack on the Taj hotel), the ICC are (rightly) very concerned about player security. In future, please engage brain and then THINK for ten seconds before acting. |

There was no such thing as an "over zealous" or "trigger happy" guard Gaz as you well know so stop sensationalising. Are these the same "over zealous" & "trigger happy" guards who were happy to let people pose for photos holding their guns? 2) Did you have Ian Bell's permission to play with his bat? How would you feel if a couple of Australians jumped the boundary at Lord's and started playing with Andrew Strauss's bat? You wouldn't do it in Australia or England, so why do it in Bangladesh? I certainly wouldn't get as upset as you seem to be Gaz. In case you had your head so far up your own arse the whole time you were there that you didn't notice let me explain to you that it was a lot more relaxed & laid back in Bangladesh regarding security than it is in either England or Oz. 3) You can drop all the names you like, but are you telling me the members of the BCB and the ICC President would have allowed you onto the pitch, unaccompanied and without accreditation during the tea interval? Yes. Well done Gaz you've got one right. Go to the top of the class As a result of the recent shootings in Lahore (Sri Lanka team bus) and the major terrorist incident in Mumbai (attack on the Taj hotel), the ICC are (rightly) very concerned about player security. Are you seriously comparing these incidents. Drama Queen get a life man. In future, please engage brain and then THINK for ten seconds before acting. In future mind your own business. Maybe you should consider a career as a soap opera scriptwriter, they love sensationalist crap aswell. So we've had a "riot" in Chittagong & a potential terrorist on the perimeter of the pitch (not over the boundary) in Dhaka. What a tour that was! Mountains & Molehills spring to mind. |

Although you and the players may stop at the Taj it was the 58 civilains shot dead at CST on the same night that stunned those of us travelling in India watching the ODIs at the time. |

Gaz only sees the terrorism that affects the players & the likes of him staying at the Taj. I was in India at the time too but like you say Gaz i'm an "idiot" whose behaviour in Bangladesh could easily have caused a similar attrocity. |
