so anything from under a taka to $20.taking into concideration the sit down bananna and entertainment. is there anything under a taka?i remember the first time in india you could get a cup of chai for 50paises(spelling?)and aload of schrapnel change.matches were 10.must still exist?i think the going rate now is between 2to 5 rupees

Cheapest I recall were cough sweets for Tk 1.00 each - not very effective but decent enough placebo effect. Mostly the only coinage I saw was the Tk 1.00 coin, but I'm sure I had a Tk 0.50 coin at one stage - can't remember how I got it though, possibly paying to use a toilet at a station or something?

Were there any coins other than 1 taka and 50 cents (or 50 whatevers)? Everything 2 taka and up was a note as I recall.
