This is a tough one to call as theres been thousands!! but for me one time that sticks out was the afternoon of 3rd day in Melbourne. Jimmy was doing his thing when Ponting got out (can't remember who got the wicket). The place, which was already rocking, went completly crazy and everyone was chanting "Barmy Army Wicket". I think it was about this time we realised the Urn was garunteed to be returning home. anyone else got a standout moment?? |

I was at all five tests and my highlight was at Adelaide getting them 3/2 and seeing Ponting walking back to the dressing room. The night after retaining the Urn in the Melbourne at Leverson's was pretty special also with Swanny leading the singing of Champagne Supernova. |

Ponting losing it and then Kevin winking at him which made him lose it more! The significance of the event should not be lost in the context of his captaincy and the crumbling Aussie team!! Our batting, our bowling and our fielding.............an absolute joy to watch. The idiot convict in the front row of the Barmy section day 1 of the Sydney test..........had nothing when asked if his boyfriend knew he was there except the usual hand gestures/insults, warned by the plod, went off and got himself body painted in Green, continued on his primeval way and was finally evicted! Billy playing "Another one bites the dust" as he was led away! Priceless! |

Popping into work (I am an expat serving in the Aussie Navy) with my convict colony shirt on and informing my boys that they are to bow to the wallpaper of the England team I have emblazoned my desktop. I then told them that they are to submit a list of 20 Aussie test players that were not from Australia when I return on Monday. (Before they tried that old SA chestnut) I then went home to watch the boys give the PM's XI a convict whipping!! |

The Sydney Morning Herald did an article on him the next day, in real-life he is a chiropodist from Canberra |

Sitting in the members pavilion at the SCG on the final morning and George joining in with the "I Shagged Matilda" chant from the England End opposite. Loudly |

I only did the Adelaide test. The first morning 3 for 2.... Trott's run-out of Katich for a Diamond Duck and then 'Rick's' Golden Duck were good enough, but then to see 100+s for Cook and Petersen over the next day and a half was priceless. (Well.... A$ to £ priceless anyway!) |
