Good work Harv, better to buy them a curry in India & let them buy you one in Belfast! Very much so! Anyway, I posted this on the wrong thread (sorry), so to get back on topic, have you made any headway in your visa-related trials and tribulations yet? |

Anyway, I posted this on the wrong thread (sorry), so to get back on topic, have you made any headway in your visa-related trials and tribulations yet? Not as yet Harvey no. I've made my daily call to the premium rate VFS helpline every day this week only to be told that my application is still in process & to ring back tomorrow. I've e-mailed the HC & had no response. Bazzwick dropped his application off at Brum over a week after me & he picked his up on Monday!! He told me that while he was there there was a guy in the same boat as me who needed to fly in the next couple of days & he basically wasn't taking no for an answer so they took him over to the place where they process the applications, which is only round the corner, & they did it for him in a couple of hours. So I'm booking Friday off work to go down there & try to get the same result. At least if successful I can drop the Bangladesh applications off on the same day but i'm pissed off that i will have wasted 2 days holiday on visa applications!! I've ended up speaking to the same guy at the VFS call centre on about 4-5 occasions now & i got him again today & he said that what i plan to do is the best way to get it resolved. I'll let you know how i get on.... |

Ahhh the joys of India.... Yesterday afternoon "Sorry Sir your applications have still not been processed. I have no idea why they are taking so long so i would advise you to attend the visa office in Birmingham to clarify" Book Friday off work to go down there & sort it out with them.... First thing this morning 2 passports complete with Indian visas delivered to work!! On closer inspection I can reveal that my visa application was processed 18th January (dropped application off on the 17th) & Podge's was processed on the 1st February (dropped off at the same time). They obviously thought long & hard about letting you back in George.... |

The ironic thing is that I was wanting to pay for a SD envelope when I visited the place but they'd run out and said I had to collect in person . . If they had some in stock , I'd probably be still sitting here without a passport and no chance of entering Denmark next week for the football . . . They work in mysterious ways |

My passport has arrived back today through the post as always. Living life on the edge here in Barnsley. No trips to the big cities for me. Another multiple-entry valid for six months. Nice. I only have one problem now... |

Right Apologies all round, but after reading the whole thread again I'm still baffled. We have multi entry visa's but with no stipulated entry points etc. Are we affected by the 60 day rule or can we come and go. Please, if you do'nt know , do'nt add to my confusion by stating a 'view'. Ta. |
