After visiting Bangladesh last year for the test match in Dhaka i returned home wondering if there were any UK charities directly working specifically to help improve peoples lives within Bangladesh..looking for a charity who provides dedicated resources into bangaldesh was not particularly easy but ive recently been made aware of 'ARBAN UK'. ARBAN UK are a very new charity based in Bristol who are working with ARBAN Bangladesh. A charity who have operated for 27 years to to help improve conditions for what they call the ââ¬Å"forgotten peopleââ¬Â of Bangladesh. ARBAN stands for The Association for Realisation of Basic Needs. If youd like to find out more check out www.arban.org.uk or follow some of their fundraising efforts on facebook at "Run for the Slum". cheers |
