I think the fact that we failed to replace McDonald for the T20 due to 'paperwork required' was a siginificant factor. |

Anyone watching Surrey Glamorgan on Sky at the minute? A breathtaking innings thus far.... 240-1 off 23 overs! A rare ray of sunshine on Surreys season looks to be in the making... However I really hope though that Dalrymple is not fit to bowl... because otherwise it makes for "interesting" decision making for the captain to shield himself for so long from the onslaught.... whilst all other bowlers tried thus far and taking serious tap. |

The Bears may be in the final, but the ECB's scheduling has completely screwed anyone who doesn't live in London and was thinking of attending - http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2010/sep/12/somerset-warwickshire-lords-final Absolutely astonishing incompetence. |

It's nice to know they think of the fans. The ECB are subsidising coach travel, but I would assume this will just be the official coaches, organised by the 2 county cricket clubs, and not regional ones, so Warwick fans from Studley, Alcester, Stratford, Warwick, Leamington, Kenilworth, Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth.....etc etc... will have to get to and from Edgbaston to make use of this!!! I would imagine it is even worse for many Somerset fans aswell!!! This is purely for tv revenue I would imagine, the clubs (I would like to think!!), players and most supporters will be against it, middle of September playing a cup final at night, crazy. 10:30am starts in the old 60 over competition at the beginning of September used to be bad enough, with whoever won the toss, put the other team in, took some early wickets and 9 times out of 10 ended up winning. But this one takes the biscuit |
