Decided to get a ticket for 20/20 finals day at the Rosebowl. Never been there before. Can anyone offer any suggestions regarding accommodation and parking near the ground |

Hi Hector, I haven't been to the Rose Bowl before but I have been told parking near ground is a nightmare. We are staying near the centre on Saturday night at Claremont House for £30 a night each. Its 6 miles from the ground. Couldn't find anything nearer the ground for the same/similar money. Mark |

I've gone with one of the Premiere Inn's. £50 a night and next to the M27. Will be travelling up on Friday afternoon, so hopefully there will be time to find the ground and seek out parking options. |

Never been before either, we've booked Ibis for 2 nights in the centre, one of our party is from there and have been informed there's a bus service that will get you up there or taxi for about £15 |

It was a nightmare we went finals day in 2008 it took us an hour to get in the ground missing the first 6 overs. Think they only had 1 entrance at that time! So get there early Toilets were mainly portaloos and a after a really hot day were nice come the end! Beer was £3.50 a pint or bottle. Max 4 per person each time. Afterwards was very interesting too as loads of buses back to town centre and trains stations etc with no one to help. We stayed in premier inn by airport i think and did manage to get a bus there and back somehow! All in all it wasn't a good day especially losing to Kent first up also. I'm not going this year! Have fun though! |
