As we don't have a dedicated thread ongoing and Yorkshire had such a good start lets go...... Yorkshire's season will depend on who gets called to carry the drinks for England this summer. A full Yorkshire bowling attack v Somerset's batting at their place would be interesting to watch. |

Just knew you would'nt be able to resist it. To refresh your memory, its the team thats top at the end that wins it. (Do'nt know why I'm pointing that out, we've peaked already) |

Ah good, a county thread! Huey Lad has been to Grace Road already and saw a Hoggard hat trick, I believe. Agreed that Yorkshire vs. Somerset in Taunton would be good to watch live, still ploughing through county fixture list to see if there's a meetup for us all in there somewhere... |

Cheltenham Gloucestershire v Kent in the championship 20-23/07/2011 Gloucestershire v Notts in the friends prove 24/07/2011 I'm back in blighty for it, looking at atleast 1 day, likely to be Friday 22nd. I notice, that once again a majority of championship fixtures are starting Monday, Tuesday or Wednesdays, mean little if no chance of play over the weekend!!!! The only people I know who get to watch loads of county championship cricket are retired or postmen!!! |

However, I am confident that should Yorkshire not win it I will have the consolation of being well above the other rose county! |

Due to our parlous financial situation mainly but also our I Zingari season, I probably concur. (Gnashes teeth angrily) Oh dear, I've just noticed that I've replied before your statement Neil. Please try and keep up !!! |

I'll be at both of these games. Other Cheltenham Festival games of interest: Glozzer v Essex 26/07/11 Glozzer v Lancs 31/07/11 Admitedly these are one-dayers. Chances of gaining promotion let alone winning Div 2 pretty remote. Still trying to get some warmth into the body after today's play in Cardiff. |
