Lancs are playing Durham in two of their next three championship games. The rest of the division one sides need Durham to pull Lancs back into the pack. They're looking like a runaway train at the moment. Perhaps Peter Moores has a bit more about him than KP thinks? |

The next few games are indeed 'massive'. I would be a lot more confident if the games were continuous, instead we have a two and a half week break for a kids game 'festival'. In recent years Lancs have had good/reasonable starts, which have ground to a halt at this point after a mediocre stab at T20. The next three games are our toughest of the season, being thereabouts after these games would give us a realistic chance. If history repeats itself I will implode. Realistically the gap between ourselves and Notts and Durham wo'nt be closed in a season, particularly after losing Maharoof, do we settle for improvement or go for it all guns blazing ... Watch this space, could be a classic season. |
