The weather down here was mainly clear when the majority of wickets fell and conversely overcast throughout Durhams recovery ???? I give up, what does make the ball swing ? Should be a good day tomorrow. |

Still feel Durham are the best side AND there is always a late twist somewhere. Think I'll tip warwicks now, that'll f... 'em up. |

Division Two is going to the wire. Apart from Middlesex who appear to be home and hosed, it's a three horse race for the final promtion spot. Today's 10 wicket crushing of Leicestershire at Bristol by the mighty Glozzer mean we are only 9 points behind Northants who we visit on Monday. Surrey (8 points ahead of us) are the other team. C'mon Glozzer (and do us a favour Derbyshire). It would be nice to be able to wear the Glozzer top in Sri Lanka as a Division One team |

Brilliant brilliant conclusion to the season. The nice thing is that the weather looks set fair for all the games this week (hurricanes excepting) so hopefully no excuses about the weather. On that topic, despite another dead loss of a summer, do'nt remember Lancs ever losing so little time to rain etc. Another reason why we are so desperate to win it this year, besides the obvious, it will be 50 years 'til its this dry again. Even put the washing out twice this year !!! |

Can't believe the lack of comment/interest when you look at how close this is going to be. A sign of the demise in county cricket perhaps ? Just as we're getting decent at it Let me say now The best team always wins the league. |
