Well the current market rate is 1 GBP = 190 LKR so it will be interesting to hear what rates are being offered at the airport as well as local vendors in the Galle area.


1.00 GBP = 168.2300 LKR Thomas cook!

 If I remember correctly, there is a Thomas Cook Bureau at CMB.

One of the first you pass after you've passed through customs.

even if there is one, i'd still say go to one of the SL bank's desks.

ATMs at one of the SL banks throughout SL should give you the current (decent) rate
