Me and my dad are staying at the Renuka City Hotel for a week (15th - 22nd September). Got Tickets for 3group games Aus v Ire, Ind v Afg and Eng v Afg. Just wondering where others will be staying and any other thoughts people have. Thanks Bob |

I've stayed in this hotel in the past its an ok base, nothing exceptional about it and nothing wrong with it. Location wise its a good base for Colombo as you can get a bus down to Mount Lavina, walk to Galle face and some of the 5 stars, a short tuk tuk to the port/railway areas and also colombo 7 |

They sent me an email 7 days before my stay (while I was lounging on Unawatuna beach nowhere near a computer) saying they'd tested my credit card used to secure the booking and there was a problem with it (there wasn't) then emailed me again 24 hours later because I hadn't replied to the email saying they were cancelling my booking. Then tried to charge me a shitload more money for the room as a new booking. Check your emails!! |
