 has anyone else had a lawyers letter from Sri Lanka who stayed at the Villa Ocean View at Waddawua with Mercury Direct during the 2nd test?

looks like they might not have been paid by Mercury and are now sending lawyers letters out to their clients now hoping to get the money of us!

Sounds like a scam to me.

Does it mention Mercury or the sum of money supposedly owed?

Any contract you would have had is likely to be with Mercury, not the hotel, unless someone knows different.

 Thanks guys

They didn't mention Mercury's name at first but did quote a price of 640$ for accommodation,services and food provided by the hotel

I've noticed Mercury have now dropped this hotel from their latest brochure.

I've been i touch with Mercury and they have asked for copies of the letters from the lawyers in Sri Lanka to pass onto their legal team.

I suppose it could be interesting trying to get bak into Sri Lanka if Mercury don't sort it out?

Dont think that even the GoSL are interested in private disputes. #famouslastwords
