Hi Matt, Sorry for late reply. No. I am near Thilanka hotel on way to cricket ground. I just gave a guest staying at Sevana a load of flyers to put at the guesthouse. Regards M |

Nature Walk is a good place to stay that is near my bar. Kandy view is also a good place. Anna Shankti has great reviews on TA. I can also recommend other places if anyone needs? Michael |

Hi Michael I arrive in Kandy on Saturday, it'll prob be Sunday when I come down again, will bring our party down as remember the bar from last time. I can remember big screen / tv I think with footy, do you have English footy on, not like my team are shown seeing as we're non league but just wondered Cheers Craig |

Hi Craig, Yes, we do. We are probably going to be closed on Sat night as it is Poya day which means we are not allowed to sell alcohol and most people being at the cricket. I am suggesting to people to go behind Cargils supermarket in town and buy vodka and put in water bottle for stadium. I cant guarantee you will get in with it but worth a try. This Saturday Ars V Chel Ful V Man C Man U V Tott Sunday 20:30 Aston Villa V WBA Last week we had to flick between F1 and England v India but not this week. Cheers Michael, thanks for the advice. I don't land till about 8am, so be straight to Kandy, quick change and to cricket. I'll have to stock up in Dubai then and get some vodka - Catch you on Sunday |
