Must be honest, I enjoyed my time in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which would have been vastly improved if you could get a beer (more easily) in the ground, there were a few more taxis kicking around at the end of play and we had made more of a fight of the games. Both places had something going for them and it was nice to watch cricket and get a tan whilst everyone at home was struggling in the snow. Whatever you think of it, with 3 grounds and the ICC based there, I don't think it will be long until we are there for the World Cup or a T/20 tournament. |
