According to reports the five venues are: Calcutta, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Bombay. No dates have been announced yet. Apologies for posting this on this part of the forum- I'm not allowed to post on the India ODI section!! |

I must admit to being baffled by the fact that some people are able to post in certain sections but others aren't. I've made a couple of tweaks, which I'm hoping might have solved the problem. |

According to Cricinfo 'Although the precise dates have yet to be announced, the venues, as confirmed by the BCCI, will be Kolkata, Mumbai, Mohali, Hyderabad and Delhi, with Kolkata also hosting a one-off Twenty20 match' |

In case you were wondering, it is indeed just about possible to do the whole thing by train, and you would save yourself a packet on accommodation doing it that way. What's more, if (when?) they change the venues around, you can cancel your train booking on-line and get virtually all your money back! Book trains through www.cleartrip.com from 90 days before departure. There are direct trains on all routes except Chandigarh to Hyderabad, which will involve an afternoon in New Delhi. The confirmed schedule looks a bit more user-friendly than the unconfirmed one! Sounds too good to be true.... |
