This place is very close to Kotla and has got an excellent bar.

It also backs onto Old Delhi which is a fascinating place to spend a couple of days.

Decent pre and post match drink (and food) in the Broadway on Monday.

Stayed in the hotel for SA vs Windies during World Cup but full this time around - Ended up in the Tara Palace near the Cycle Market - Top little place in the chaos of Old Delhi.

About £30 per night - Clean, free airport pick up, decent breakfast included and helpful staff - Highly recommended - Bizarrely bumped into another fella from Oadby there (not in Delhi for cricket) who stays there every year.
