GOCKEL(sp?) bar Cobala

Gokul is the spelling. It's on Tulloch Rd in Colaba. Cheap beer and unpretentiousness make it a favourite with the budget crowd, and local drinkers too. I've found the food there is pretty good as well.

Diagonally opposite there the kebab stall which opens in the evenings until late is recommended by those I've spoken to who've tried it, although I usually stick to vegetarian fayre when in India.

Many first time visitors head for Leopold's, which is atmospheric but a little expensive.

No. The Sports Bar is at the northern end of Colaba Causeway.

Leopold's is further down Colaba Causeway on the same side of the road.
