anyone else not been able to pay online?

Eventually managed to work out how to pay it online, seems more complicated than last time but that may be an age thing, and got a receipt which was photocopied and sent in with my application.

Got my double entry visa back from the London office in within seven days of sending it off, it even states my return will be from Nepal (as I sent them all my flight detials), however, what it doesn't say if I can return within a 2 month period despite specifically asking for approval.

Problems problems at least I have my visa.

That was all my double entry visa said last time, other than a reference to ICC CWC 2011. Nepal had been crossed out and "Bengladesh" (sic) untidily written in biro in its place.

In practice I think the border guards are usually clued up about the rules regarding travel to neighbouring countries.

Now I've got my visa want to apply for the Liquor Permit for Ahmedebad.
Anyone know if I have to send off my passport to the High Commission with the application form?

You can do but don't forget the permit only means you can have a warm beer or duty free G&T in your room.

I'd wait until you get there and get it from the airport or one of the big hotels.

Can anyone help me please?

I am trying to apply for a tourist visa online. I have uploaded a photo to my application. When I print off the application to send off with my passport, it has a blank square in the top right corner where a photo should be with a signature needed underneath.

This might sound like a daft question, but do I leave them blank (as my photo was included online) or do I have to stick on a photo and sign underneath?

i would send another 2 pics and sign the form as it does ask for more than one pic, better safe than having it returned and going through the process again

Same here mate, couldn't be bothered with all the potential hassle this time after previous experiences. I paid £60, gave them my passport, the photos & details of the hotel etc. They filled the form in online, I signed it & they'll ring me in a week to go & collect.
Lazy? Yes. Bone idle in fact but in my book ease & no hassle wins every time. There'll be plenty of time for hassle & chaos once in India without enduring it in this country too..
