We used the Intercontinental on Marine Drive in 2006, between your hotel and the ground, had the game on a big screen as well. |

However during IPL matches in Mumbai there is certainly alcohol floating around in some of the posher parts of the ground, as well as corporate boxes, so I wouldn't discount the possibility completely. The only Indian ground where I've seen beer sold to the masses is Mohali, and that stuff was horrid. You will certainly not be allowed to bring alcohol in with you, and your smuggling skills will need to be bloody good for you to even stand a chance. They don't allow you to take in water, or bottles of sun cream, let alone alcohol. In fact, as with all Indian grounds, pretty much everything is banned, including bags, cameras, newspapers, and mobile phones, although for reasons of practicality they don't tend to enforce the ban on mobile phones all that rigidly as long as you're polite but assertive. |

I suggest going for the "North Stand" as it offers bowlers arm view from level 3 . Vithal Devicha Stand will offer a flat view from about Deep Midwicket |
