I booked online with the Hotel itself, you don't have to send a deposit.I'll just phone to confirm a couple of days before i arrive.I know two others are booked in here.

I have mailed them for availability, Waiting for a response! Thanks a ton! Will let you know when they confirm :)

They have no rooms available :(
Panic starts here..!
Any more hotels can you suggest?? or share a room types??
I think I am too late to do the bookings!

Makemytrip.com
You'll find loads of cheap digs and info on there. You say you are a student but where from? Your grammar suggests your not English. Istayed in Times International in kolkata and the Vitshotel in Nagpur. Both handy for the ground, well as much as you can for Nagpur.
Good luck

Im in the Suba Palace in Mumbai but I think they're full. Last time I was in Mumbai I stayed at the Hotel Diplomat in Colaba which was pretty good. In Calcutta I'm at the Casa Fortuna which is walking distance to the ground.

In Kolkata staying @ The Corporate Hotel (£38 per night) on Royd Street. 2km from Eden Gardens.
Please note in Nagpur the cricket ground is approx 15-17 km outside the town.
There are hotels near the airport (on the way to the cricket ground), but the cheaper ones are in the town. Staying @ the Peanut Budget Lodging (£35 per night) by Kachipura Garden.

Booked both on Agoda (you have to pay "up front", but can cancel, and get your money back if required).

Good Luck

Erik

I'm staying in Hotel Diplomat on Sudder Street in Kolkata, best thing to do is look for hotels quite close to the ground on a hotel booking website then read some reviews on here or tripadivisor.

Ok. Il check there too.
Thanks a ton! :)

I'm travelling alone to Kolkatta and possibly Nagpur.
Have booked a twin room in the hotel Heera, which is close to Sudder street and the ground.
I've booked 6 nights from Dec. 4th.
You're welcome to the spare bed if you're still looking.
