Please don't tell me Compton hasn't had long training sessions with coaches working on not just trying to hang around with Indian spinners bowling with 5 or so around the bat? Can you imagine Seewag not looking for runs with no-one in the outfield ? It's basic to play your natural game and put pressure on the fielding side ...

From what I've seen of Compton in county cricket, blocking and nurdling is his natural game.

Just a hint of bitterness then Harvey, how very unlike you mate !

Unfortunately this game has gone EXACTLY as I guessed. Oh well long way to go yet I suppose.

Not at all, merely pointing out that (for better or worse) he's no Sehwag.

I think there is a distinct possibility that it could be over before stumps on day 3!!

If India maintain the same attacking aggression that they showed yesterday in that 18 overs, then this game will get wrapped up very quickly.

BTW, is this India forum all mucked up for everyone else?? All the threads are out of order for me (new forum).......For instance this is one of the most recent posted in, yet it is halfway down the page??
