OK Ive got my full worrying cap on now. Thinking of what can go wrong. Well main thing I am thinking is tickets, what if SRT announces his retirement, will half of India suddenly turn up in Nagpur after tickets, making them not so easy to come by? Also worry about the bad weather due next week, will be a nightmare if the plane is delayed as I might miss my connection to Nagpur which barely gets me enough time in Nagpur to get tickets and transport to the ground as is. When does ticket info get released for Nagpur, will there be a specific thread as I really need to know what my plan of attack is before I leave England. |

Don't worry about things that are outside your control. Relax, go with the flow, and deal with problems if they happen when they happen. The Vidarbha Cricket Association has a website: http://vca.co.in/home/index.html At the time of writing there was no ticket info, but they have a contact page. Ask them whether tickets will be available from the ground itself or whether you'll have to buy them from a bank before travelling out to the ground. Make sure you tell them you're arriving on the morning of the game. Whether you'll get a reply I have no idea, but once you've done that, you've done everything you can do, so no point in worrying. I expect useful info will be posted here once people start arriving in Nagpur. The following thread has the address of a bank in town that's selling them and how much they cost: viewtopic.php?f=34&t=7429 Personally if I was going I would ideally want a ticket in my hand before heading out to the stadium unless I had definite info that tickets could be obtained there. It's a long way out of town (and not to be confused with the old VCA Ground in the centre of town). You may find that your hotel will sort you out with a ticket for a small fee, or you could ask whether someone would be kind enough to get you a ticket and drop it at your hotel so it's waiting for you when you check in. In exchange for a Kingfisher or two, of course! |
