Thought it when I saw the team but didn;t say it. Will now though. Why is Bresnan in the side? Not for his batting surely? His medium pace dobblers had better be good! On a more positive note....well batted Joe Root. Looked like he should be there and hated getting out. Like it. |

330 total having been 139-5, not bad on that pitch you'd have thought? Soon find out why Bresnan is playing ... |

well we know why Anderson is playing ... Sehwag gone. India going to need a test match mentality on this pitc, not a 20 over one |

Great day for us. 330 was much more than expected and now we've got em right on the ropes. Reckon this might be SRT's last test match?? PS. Wickets - 1000 post coming up I see.......hope you're gonna put it to good use and get a bit off yer chest |

mentioned earlier we were 5 down for only a few more than India are overnight, for their 4 down. Long way to go. First session tomorrow will decide the course of things ... |

That it is true Mo and maybe I am getting ahead of myself slightly, but in their 4 down were their only batsmen likely to get them close to our 1st innings score. I can't see anyone left to come (apart from Ashwin) that is likely to do what Root, Prior and Swann did for us and we've got Jimmy bowling brilliantly But you are right, 1st session this morning should sort this out. |
