If the proposed grounds (Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin) are used as test venues in this tour. Can anyone advise which is the best for a spectator? Dunedin seems a good option with it being located on South Island. Has anyone been before? and also, which of the proposed tests would any of you recommend? Also, can tickets be easily purchased on the day of any test in NZ? This will be my first tour so any advise would be most helpful. Cheers, Richard |

Cheers, Richard I went to Dunedin during the Rugby World Cup, it's a cracking little city, a few bars right in the city centre on what they call the Octagon, then with it being a student place there's plenty more pubs just to the north of the city centre too!!! I didn't go there myself, but there's also a beach area which looks quite nice!!! Also, like you say, it's on the South Island (which is beautiful) and only 2 1/2 - 3 hours drive from Queenstown which is nice (and very lively) and the surrounding area is just stunning, Milford Sound etc etc... Anyway, i'm praying for a one dayer at Queenstown, which I will make every effort to get over for!!!! ![]() |

He is not too talkative at the moment with the way they are playing though. bar wise there is a new sports bar just opened on wyndham st in the city called spitting feathers which was great during the rugby world cup. can't remember the last bar here in Auckland, also the bog nearer to the ground is a good irish bar He must have been struck dumb. You don't seem to be saying much either. How reliable are the venues I'm beginning to think. |

E-mailed NZ Cricket to ask for the fixture details and got the following reply: "The 2012/13 schedule will be confirmed later this year, our website will be updated with the information as soon as it becomes available." So hope that clears up all the fixture questions |
