I was under the impression that this boat had sailed, as it were. |

Yes, initially prices were cheaper than the rest of the market, however, as soon as the tour dates were announce, both BA and Qantas upped their fares considerably, by around £300. The loophole still works and it still knocks £300 or thereabouts off Qantas fares as they currently stand, although there are still lower fares available with other carriers. An example of pricing today for random dates on Qantas. Expedia.co.uk 13MAR LHR-AKL 27MAR AKL-LHR £1365 Other Source 13MAR LHR-AKL 27MAR AKL-LHR £1050 This £1050 price is not far off the lowest available fares and some may prefer to pay the smallish premium to fly Qantas, be it for status perks through their airline/oneworld loyalty cards or to collect frequent flier miles. |

Also flying with Korean. Was due to fly Seoul to Gatwick. However, Korean have changed their schedule. This means a night in Seoul courtesy of the airline on return journey. Also now flying into Heathrow which is better for me! |
