Hi Bikini, Can you see if there are any powered sites in town when you are there, Google search is not revealing much (apart from one site 4K from the ground (remaining nameless) that seem pretty intent on lights out at 9PM). Hi lanesra Not sure if this is the one you've found on Google, but we're staying up at the Leith valley Touring Park - http://www.leithvalleytouringpark.co.nz/ This has powered/watered sites for about £20 a night. I haven't seen any mention of the 9pm lights out |

The only part of the who Sri Lanka tour I had booked before I left here was accom in Colombo and it turned out to have a 10pm curfew. We walked straight out of there! cost us a fair amount but well worth it! bugger the early nights. I shall pop in to the tourist info and get some info on camp sites in the area. |

For anyone new to this thread I am heading to Dunedin this week and so can make some time to do any fact finding or myth busting if people are needing some help. There was request for the camp site checking but that seemed to be resolved by anyther BA member, is that correct? Feel free to add any questions on here. |

Thanks Bikini, Mr Phelps put my mind at rest, it was a single comment on another blog. I guess all that you could do for me is find a decent friendly pub !!!! |
