Sorry boys, going back through the the thread i can see why! :?

You're good fortune and i'm pleased for you matey. We could have gone via H'throw and got it cheaper but the inherent problems of connections and lost luggage are massive detractors from any savings. Oh well :)

Not be long naaah.
After waiting in a queue for 20mins the 'Aussie' (he was'nt) I spoke to confirmed what I already knew. That there were still seats on our original flight (now cheaper) and moved us back onto it.
I'm in the sticky brown stuff courtesey of Jetstar schedule changes. What number did you ring, as the list on their website is a bit confusing?

Sorted my 3 internal flights out now, after they'd all been cancelled. My flight from Auk to Dunners now leaves at 14.10,seeing as i land at 14.35,i can't see me getting on that ;)I've now booked with Air NZ,they get me in Dunners at 8.15pm. The flight from C'church to Welly, originally 16.15,was brought forward to 06.55. Thanks to Andy Mac,a skype call to Jetstar put me on the 14.10. The Welly-Auck flt, originally 11.30am,is now 08.50,which ain't that bad. After this fiasco,i'll never fly with Jetstar again.

This is the no Hector. As Fernando says its easiest on Skype, in terms of affordability. I was held for twenty mins so I'm glad I wasn't paying. They are useless and I think they are just using us to defray their splitting of the flight. Lots of alternatives still available and thankfully plenty of time to sort it. Bastards should have at least one email address.
Good luck.

Any body else on Jetstar flight JQ285 from Auckland to Dunedin on the 5th March been informed that the flight time's been changed from dep 1630 to now dep at 1410, don't land until 1345 from Dubai so that's a non starter need to rebook with NZ, anybody know if it's a pain getting through NZ immigration

The only thing you need to watch out for is turning up with dirty boots / outdoor gear - the risk of contaminating their environment with foreign species is taken very seriously and any dirty gear will be taken away for decontamination, which might be a problem if you have a tight connection.

I'm on a flight that arrives in Auckland just after midnight on 2nd March. Was planing on 8hrs kip in a hotel by the airport prior to catching the 11:50am Jetstar flight to Queenstown. Bastards moved departure time forward by 3hrs.

There's no way I'm giving up 3hrs sleep after 24hrs travelling so I have cancelled the Jetstar flight and re-booked with Air NZ (£5 more expensive but extra 20 minutes in bed).

Contacted Jetstar via Skype and got immediate response and all sorted in 3 - 4 minutes. Only draw back is Jetstar take 15 working days to process the refund.

Thats the same flight as me mate. I've bitten the bullet and accepted the change but it will mean having to change my digs as I'd originally intended staying in Auk, now it will have to be somewhere near the airport.

Look on the bright side. At least you can catch the last day of the warm up game.
