Does anyone know of the best seating position at Eden park. I know it's built for Rugby so not expecting a perfect setting, but would be nice to be positioned at least near the majority of England Army fans. Tickets on sale soon and am concerned they may sell out, especially on the saturday, so feel the need to buy early.Anyone?

I was going to wait until we are out in NZ before deciding which stand to aim for but I'm being asked this question regularly so have done a little research. The West stand was popular for us in times gone by , with plenty of sun and roughly 3rdman/fine leg but I understand the wicket is now dropped in at a slightly different angle??! I've sent off a couple of emails to people 'in the know' and will post details on here hopefully early next week.

Local to Eden Park so heres my two penneth worth- www.edenpark.co.nz/media/attachments/cm ... te-map.pdf

I would go for the old ASB stand - best view and behind bowlers arm - thats the North Stand and closest side for train station and Kingslander pub for the lunchtime pint - any 400 blocks is fine. There won't be many there so easy to move around once you're in

best thing about the ground is that since the re-development you can walk all the way round the ground with concourse of bars etc- great for all us who like walking the boundary during the game
