Hi guys , Firstly Thanks for the input from ITFCNZ and the locals , I've finally heard back from NZ cricket and a few guys I know out there.......and they've all come back with different stands! (Most advising on the old set up) NZ cricket advise the Lower East stand which 'gets good sun and is a better price point than North or South' , that's good enough for me ! We'll head for the lower East but by all accounts it's not going to be too difficult to wander around if we want to relocate. With regard to HQs , I've been in touch with many bars and should be able to confirm which ones we've chosen (based on drinks promotions, providing adequate staff and entertainment etc) in each of the Test hosting towns later this week. Can't wait to get out there ! |

Lower East it is then - its pretty much all the same all the way round- the lower east is on the right of this picture. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Eden_Park_panorama.jpg Tip for the one dayers if anyone going- lower east or the terraces as it used to be called is usually where the local divs sit and is will be plenty of mexican waves and throwing stuff, be empty for the tests though Gilo - happy to advise on Auckland pubs as Ive probably drunk in most of them |

Great score with the seat info and the bars, same as ITFCNZ I am happy to taste taste any of the bars in AUx and am heading to Wellington a couple times next month to pop in to the old bars and any new options. I have heard that Cric NZ might be reviewing the Triple pack for Eden park as it was meant to be a free day at a test so if people are thinking of holding off a little longer I would say grab them now, $51 for the 7 tickets is nothing!! See you in a few! |
