If you want to do football whilst you are out there, Otago (Dunedin) are playing Wellington Pheonix A at Forsyth Barr Stadium on 06/03/13 19:00 ko. If football isn't your thing, and I know there are a few strange people out there, there is;- Welcome to Forbury Park Raceway the southernmost night Harness Racing Track in the Southern Hemisphere. The Club has been night racing in Dunedin since 1960 providing the people of the lower South Island with exciting night racing. Race Meeting, Thursday, March 7 2013 at 6pm. |

How far away is the Forsyth Barr Stadium from the University Oval? |

If the cricket ground is the one off Logan Park Drive then Forsyth Barr Stadium is 200 yards away. Hopefully the student union bar is between the venues. |

I mentioned eaelier in this thread the NZ World Cup qualifier ( Football ) The venue has been confirmed as............ Dunedin, so according to the cricket itiniery, we are in........... Auckland on that day so that rules that out ! Still awaiting the NZ League play off final venue. This is due to be played on the 17th March,so unless it is played in Wellington ( where we are on that date), which would be a neutral venue, then that will not be a possibilty either....... |
