Hi guys, I'm pleased to confirm our chosen HQs for the tour, all have promised to provide food & drinks promotions , some entertainment and generally be a welcoming host for us during our stay . We will hold a pre Test 'party' the night before each Test which will be an opportunity for us all to meet up over a few beers before Billy the Trumpet leads us into a few warm up songs !! We'll also be holding a charity party in the Fourkings in Wellington and of course our end of tour (celebration) party at the Fox in Auckland. HQs have been confirmed as Pog Mahones in Queenstown , Http://www.pogmahones.com The Terrace bar in Dunedin, Http://www.theterracebar.co.nz / The Fourkings in Wellington http://www.fourkings.co.nz/ and The Fox sports bar in Auckland http://www.foxsalehouse.co.nz/ We're looking forward to a cracking tour in a fantstic country , more details on events and promotions from the HQs will be put on the site and the Facebook page. Bring it on !! |

Perfect, a steady 800m walk from Living Space. that'll be a 11 minute walk, or a 45 minute stagger with a bag of chips! Looks a good spot! |

Thanks Gilo I followed the link for The Fox to its bar menu...... quite a few beers on the menu new to me, would seem rather rude not to sample them all at some stage during the test.... and it seems it is only 300 yards or so from my hotel, which co incidentally is the same hotel the BA are staying in ! 5 weeks today for lift off |

Maybe they can make a score card and when ever beer has been ticked we get a free meal! |

Bit of a coincidence, HQ's in both Wellington and Auckland are 19 minutes walk away from my hotels according to Google maps I could do with the exercise |
