No-one needs a partner to drink my friend - thats the beauty of it. You'll have no shortage of people to share a beer with matey, just come over and introduce yourself, then join in. Safe journey. |

I'm goin' on my own too but I've been on quite a few tours now, just arrive at the Barmy pub or any other bar & everyone will be super friendly. BUT if you see a early thirties girl with short hair in an old England ODI shirt or a Cardiff Blues rugby shirt she'll be happy to have a few drinks. Erica |

Me too, Stonesy. 1st time and on me own. I'm hoping I'll find some fellow cricket fans at Heathrow tonight to make the journey a bit more bearable. |

It's dead simple, have done a few tours on my on own, at least that;s how they've started, but they never end that way!! The Barmy Army are a really friendly bunch and are happy to welcome newbies!! Often the group who look like they've been travelling together for years only met at the bar an hour or so ago!! But anyway, if you see a big bald lump feel free to chance your arm and see if it's me!! |
