Will initially be travelling out on my own for the Cricket part of the tour. This is MAN TIME for me without the delights and drawbacks that having the lady friend about brings. Will then be doing the 'touring' part of Aus with the GF. But as for going alone, don't have any hesitations! Have done the USA many a time before by myself, especially the long distance trains there. You will soon find yourself with no end of company both from fellow tourists and the locals. I can imagine Australia is pretty much the same scenario as they do seem a sociable and warm people. In fact I'd say travelling solo is often the best way if you really want to experience another country to the fullest. |
