I am an England fan living in Perth and would be interested in possibly renting out a room to anyone travelling here from the UK for next years test. I live with my wife and 2 young kids, so obviously won't suit everyone. We live around 10kms from Waca with good train service. I will hopefully being attending the test, warm up game and one-dayer if Perth gets one. I am a member of the acf (only cos it suits) so can hopefully help with getting tickets. It would be good to here from anyone with any advice or anyone who has come across a similar situation, either stopping with another family or renting out their own space. Thanks Richard |

Rich Mate, I know this is a little cheeky but I'm touring with 3 mates, first tour, and we're thinking of staying in the Cottesloe Beach Hotel. What do you think of that as a location and do you know where it is in relation to Barmy Army drinking holes. Appreciate any help. |

Great offer above. I can highly recommend a place called Beatty lodge in Perth for those looked for motel style digs at pretty cheap cost. |

Hi Fridge, Cottesloe should be a great location, Cottesloes a pretty good place to watch the world go by, and when your fed up with that your only a short hop to Perth or Fremantle. The train to the city from there would be pretty quick, bit further on to the Waca. The trains here a much better than the Uk, efficient and not badly priced. In terms of BA bars I know in the past they've used the Lucky Shag which is down on the waterfront not far from the cbd - not sure if that'll be the case again, but I'd recommend it anyway. The main bit of advice I would give you is that if your going to come over to Perth and your happy with what they're quoting, get it booked - Perth is notoriously short of accommodation, so you end up overpaying or staying further out if you leave it too long. Hope if you do make the trip you all enjoy Perth. |

Rich Thanks for that. I'll book up this week. Cottesloe and Fremantle all look great. See you in The Shag in December. Fridge. |
