Hi,

I do have 4 spare tickets for Sydney on the 3rd. Silver tickets in the O'Reilly stand. A$ 95 each if I remember correctly. Relative in Oz duplicated purchase and is sending them to me shortly together with the others he bought for me. If you are interested please email halleyja@gmail.com and we can work out the arrangements.

Hi all, we've got the flights but left it too late to get tickets and the premium websites are charging a fortune... If anyone has 2 spare tickets for Day 1 and/or Day 2 i would be keen to take them off your hands, happy to pay slightly over the odds if necessary. Cheers, Nick

Hi all, just joined the forum,

I'm looked for two tickets for the following dates. Peferably near the barmy army areas and not in a "dry" section, can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Perth 13th and 14th December (day 1 and 2)
Sydney 3rd and 4th January (day 1 and 2)

not sure if anybody has already posted this..( been without computer and phone for three weeks....wonderful technology in OZ )....
but there were seats available in aussie army section. I checked it out and there is no site or organisation anywhere listed as aussie army...so can only assume some one has opted to keep a section for some of their supporters who have no songs but can "oi oi oi" quite well.

I sent a few England supporters to buy seats there and they had no problems. don't have to sit with them.....just have to get into the ground....

What do you mean just get into the ground? Can we wonder round a sit where we like within reason? I have 'dry' section tickets but wouldn't mind sitting somewhere where can I have a drink :)

last Ashes series at the SCG....first day was pretty crowded but after that, quite a bunch of us sat half way down bay 16 or 17 from memory. nobody bothered us about being in their seats. could be a lot of opposition supporters....( the oi oi oi mob) had other things to do. there were plenty of vacant seats all around us. and just to the right of us were the Barmies in bay 14 I think. behind everybody are the beer outlets. and you can stand with a lot of other England supporters in the shade and watch the game just behind the seating.
got a bit warm in mid afternoon so I took a beer and wandered up into the stands where a nice cool breeze was blowing and watched the game from there for a while. no one bothered. you shouldn't have too much trouble getting out of a dry zone to drink with England supporters.
From memory....I can't recall too many movement restrictions other than around the members area.

Hi all, new to the forum, just after some advice if possible please.

Looking at going to sydney for the test but want to travel for more than the eight nights on offer with thomson sport. Thomas cook sport offer more flexible travel dates, hotel bookings, etc, as well as tickets for the test match. Can anyone tell me if the tickets they (Thomas cook) have, are with the barmy army? Or is it only by booking with Thomson that ill be sat with the barmy army?

Cheers in advance for any info,

Kind regards Matty
