A few weeks ago I was searching for accommodations in Perth and found them to be somewhat more expensive than elsewhere. I have the unfortunate problem of accommodating three for the Perth test later this year so that generally means a two bedroom apartment or one bed apartment at a squeeze. Unless you want to hostel it, of course. Anyhow, I noticed that the Holiday Inn Perth offered 2 Bedroom Family Rooms at the same rate of the cost of a Standard Room when redeeming Holiday Inn/Priority Club points. The cost of the room is 25,000 Priority Club points which can be creatively purchased for approximately £110 through Priority Club itself if you don't already have any. A non refundable revenue booking would cost you around £200 for that room type. I've been able so snag myself a week (11-18 Dec) in one of those 2 Bedroom Family Rooms, which come with one double in one room and two single beds in the other, and I'm rather chuffed, truth be told. Some of the apartments I looked at are kitted out very 1980s and certainly not worth the price they command. Drop me a line if this is of any interest.
