hi guys, 1st time touring and im going to oz for the whole ashes tour and looking for some tips.. are there any whole tour packages around??? if not i can book flights and accom but was wondering best way to get between venues planes trains or coaches?? any input on the tour and touring generally would be gratefull

Googling and looking at other threads on this forum will answer your questions re. packages.

Most people tend to fly between venues because of the distances involved. Unfortunately trains will be of limited usefulness on this tour. In the past some have caught the train from Adelaide to Perth for example, but this time there is only a very short gap between Adelaide and Perth Tests. Sadly the train only goes once a week, and not on a day that would be any good to us. There are no buses on that route anymore, so your choice for that leg is between flying and getting together with others to hire a vehicle and sharing the driving.

Hi Mate, I'm planning to travel over for all 5 Tests. Be first time for me &
travelling alone too
Not booked yet though trying to gather as much info as I can first.
Have you booked yet? Are you planning to Travel with Barmy Army
Be interested in sharing info if you have any advice.
