Hi Guys, I am seriously thinking of going to a Test in Australia and I was wondering if I travel alone, how friendly the Barmy Army tours are? Im a tad nervous about it. Im hoping a friend will be able to come but if not Im going to go it alone!!  Im outgoing, love and still play cricket and love to have a laugh but Im a lightweight in the drinking department and wondered if that was a pre requisite requirement lol. I would love to hear your thoughts  Sue x |

I would love to hear your thoughts Sue x It's not obligatory to be able to drink ridiculous amounts. Believe it or not, there are even some who for one reason or another don't drink at all! There is absolutely no need to be nervous. There will be thousands out there travelling alone and looking to make friends. |

Hi sue I was also a first timer in 2012 and did 3 trips in the one year. You will certainly have little trouble fitting in and you will meet many fantastic like minded people. I have certainly had a ball every trip and have many fond memories. Good luck and maybe cu in Oz Stoney |

Hello Sue Like everyone has said there are loads of like minded people who will be travelling alone and the tourists are a friendly bunch. You will have no problems, look out for the Barmy HQs or keep tabs on this site as there are often tourists looking to arrange meet ups etc. Have fun... M |

Hi I'm a newby too and will be a lone ranger! Booked for the brisbane and adelaide tests. What do most of you do and go in between tests? |
