Just seen him on Sky Sports News this morning suggesting Cookie told him the England team.

While I doubt that actually happened all I can say is what a smug, arrogant little prick.

Vastly superior captain to Cook, on and off the field

is that what's bothering you?

Nothing is bothering me, I'm just annoyed at how smug he was making that statement when Cook probably didn't say 'Hey Michael, do you want to know our team for the first Test'

However, it amuses me how obviously worried he is about facing England.

Yeah, Cooks 1 loss from 16 tests as captain certainly don't stack up to Clarkes 10 losses from 29.........clearly vastly superior.

That's on-field.
As for off-field I don't recall Cookie getting involved with a bimbo model ridden by half the sportsmen in Australia. He's also popular with his team-mates and socializes with them and I don't recall any previous England captains feeling the need to commit to print about his personality failings.
There is,however, one major difference between them - he doesn't have a bonehead called Shane Warne as his best mate.
However, they are both still world-class batsmen who I'd pay to watch any day.

He was apparently talking privately at a remembrance service. How very respectful of him to then go and gob off.

With Cook our Captain we will bring the urn home, gobbling off Clarke and Buff wins nothing but let your cricket do the talking aka Flower and Cook and Andy Strauss before.
