I have seen that tickets go on sale to members first for the Old Trafford test next year and then onto people who brought tickets to the ODI for this summer.

I've just joined the Barmy Army and i'm hoping to get tickets. I know members of the Barmy Army get the opportunity to purchase tickets but i'm unsure when abouts they go on sale. Do we get less priority than the people who brought an ODI ticket this year?

I must sound really green? I am a member of the england football membership so know that rookie questions can be fairly funny. I would however appreciate anyone's experience of buying home ashes tickets or test matches.

The way it normally works is that the Barmy Army receives an allocation of tickets which it then sells through the www.barmyarmy.com website. These tickets are offered to members first, with any that are unsold offered to non-members. The Barmy Army allocation is completely separate from the tickets that go on sale to the general public.

Cheers for that. Is there usually a period when they come out - i.e. 6 months before or does it vary?

It varies. Don't be afraid to ring them up and ask if they've got any idea of the dates when they're going on sale. I've found that it doesn't always get announced on this forum.

Bear in mind there will be prob be limit on what you can get, maybe 2 tickets per member for example. Ie I'm a member at Notts and I can apply for 4 per day, but enterting into a ballot at that

I've had an email that they are going on sale tommorrow. However, i need to get tickets for a few. Someone told me that they usually go up to 4 tickets after a week or two of going on sale. I'm looking to go to the friday, so i'm hoping it won't sell out. But I am aware that this being the first test at Old Trafford, it is likely to sell out quickly.

Priority booking for those that went to the ODI or T20, up to 4 tx per day. Whether we get 4 is another thing.
